Men's Ministry host a variety of ways to serve. From Golf carts on Sunday mornings, helping build items, grilling food, to serving others at the quarterly men's ministry events

Help set up, serve, and clean up for the weekly Coffee & Breakfast Bites in the Atrium on Wednesdays from 8:00am-10:30am.

Send monthly cards and notes to members who are no longer able to attend church regularly.

The Home Communion volunteers bring communion to those at home or in facilities who are unable to join us in worship at the church on the first Sunday of every month.

The Prayer Quilt Ministry makes quilts for adults and children who are critically ill or experiencing a life crisis.

These volunteers meet weekly on Thursday afternoons from 2p to 3p in the chapel to pray for the our pastors, staff, church community and beyond. All are invited!

Making visits to our members who are homebound, in hospitals or facilities.

This is an opportunity to help with data entry in our office or remotely.

Help provide receptions for families following funerals/memorial services at University. There is a way for anyone to help!

Welcome Desk volunteers will be responsible for helping answer questions for visitors and new members.

Help children learn the elements of worship in hopes that very soon they will be ready to attend worship services with their families.

Lead children in developmentally appropriate Bible-based lessons and foster an atmosphere of love and belonging.

The Kids Welcome Desk on Sunday mornings is a busy place to be! We need friendly faces available to welcome new families.

Help engage young children during play time, craft time and lessons while their moms attend the Momco meetings.

Serve & Play is an opportunity for 1st-5th graders to Serve (and learn) together and then Play together. These events are planned three times a year and usually take place away from the church. Several adult and high school volunteers are required to help ensure our kids have fun while staying safe.

Help 3rd-5th graders engage in Biblical community through organized games, Bible lessons, small group time and serving their community.

Interact with and help supervise kids Kinder through 2nd grade as they engage in tactile activites, organized games, scripture memory, and a whole group Bible lesson.

The Chancel Choir serves in Traditional worship at all three worship hours, 8:15, 9:30 and 11am. Volunteers are asked to sing for at least 1-2 services on Sunday, whichever service they prefer. Rehearsals for Chancel Choir are on Wednesday evening at 6:15pm in the Recital Hall located on the second floor of the Children's building on the South Campus.

All children (grades 1st to 5th) and students are invited to serve by singing in our choirs and being part of worship about four times a year. We also are seeking adult and high school volunteers.

We have opportunities for "ringers" of almost all ages!

The University Orchestra is a volunteer serving opportunity where you can lead worship through the gifts that God has given you to play an instrument. All levels of training are welcome as long as you have had at least high school experience.

Many opportunities for volunteers in assisting our community through Christian Assistance Ministry.

Train to become a Disaster Response (DR) Early Response Team (ERT) Member so we can effectively react to the next hurricane, tornado or other natural or man-made disaster in our community or around Texas. This training is not just for those who like construction skills, people are also needed to work with the affected families.

Are you the person who can correctly put together the Ikea desk in 10 minutes without the instructions, or can you hang a new towel rack, level and secure? Are you the person who wants to serves their neighbors? Do you have a truck that can be used to move a bed or dresser? Do you have a passion for serving your neighbors no matter what level of skill you have? If so, we need you!

People that are interested in serving as a tutor/mentor in an elementary school in partnership with teachers to work on reading skills with the students.

These servants come together once a month to participate as part of the steering committee and registration team for the International Community Garden.

Our servants in this ministry help do garden upkeep, brush cleanup and removal and repairs of the wooden garden boxes at the International Community Garden (St. Francis Episcopal Church on Bluemel Road)

This opportunity is for folks that like to work with our refugee friends at the International Community Gardens. Our volunteers are responsible for opening the gardens once a month on Saturdays and helping the gardeners by providing access to water and maintain their garden plots.

Many ministries (refugee, foster/adopt, home services) need someone who drives a pickup truck, periodically, to move items around town. Almost always, no lifting is required by the driver.

On the last Sunday of the month, pick up a USHOP bag after service from the North Lobby or South Narthex Welcome Desk and fill it with grocery items on the inserted list, and then return the bag the following (first) Sunday, Wednesday night dinner or to the church office during working hours (M-TH, 8am-4:30pm, F 8am-3pm)

Help collect, organize and distribute USHOP (food) and hygiene items.

Join us on Thursday mornings for coffee, fellowship, and craft time. All are invited, even if you have no idea what to do or how to do it!

Assist in brainstorming ways to develop and communicate serving opportunities to the church at large.

High School Mission Co Leaders needed. Serve with High School Students with projects in a community outside of Texas

Summer mission for Middle School Students inside the state of Texas. We need team leaders age 18-99 to co lead a group of 6-10 middle school students in projects to help transform a community by sharing the love of God through prayer and various work projects. The team stays at church equipped to handle sleeping, showering, meals and worship in the town we are serving.

Weekly meetings times TBD with gender/age level specific groups during the school year. Leaders are asked to be in consistent relationship with a group of students and attend Student Ministry events as available. This is a flexible but multi year commitment when possible.

Winter Retreat is held on MLK weekend in January at an off- campus camp/retreat location. We need many support leaders to work behind the scenes so that students will experience the transforming love of God during the retreat Friday evening through Monday at noon.
